Dr. Brian Reiter
In the area of knee conditions, Dr. Brian Reiter is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and the operative and conservative treatments of the knee, shoulder and elbow injuries. He performs state-of-the-art techniques in ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, and cartilage regeneration of the knee including autologous chondrocyte implantation.
Knee preservation arthroscopy is the prime focus for Dr. Reiter. He uses the newest and most innovative techniques in treating meniscus tears, ligament injuries, and cartilage damage and degeneration. He is one of the leading surgeons throughout the country in performing subchondroplasty, a technique used to help patient's avoid the need for knee replacement. He is currently performing clinical research on subchondroplasty and lectures locally as well as nationally to both physicians and patients. He has also performed demonstrations for other orthopedic surgeons interested in learning the procedure.
He also has extensive experience in the conservative treatments of knee preservation including physical therapy, bracing, and various types of injections including Visco supplementation/lubricant injections and the newest PRP and stem cell injections.
Dr. Reiter is on staff at JFK Medical Center, JFK Medical Center North Campus and Palms West Hospital.
