Dr. Reiter is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has additional fellowship training in sports medicine and both the operative and non-operative treatments of knee, shoulder, and elbow injuries. He received his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and completed a 5-year internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. He then completed an additional one-year of fellowship training at The Rothman Institute of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. During this year he was an assistant team physician to the World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies, The Philadelphia Eagles, and St. Josephs University.

Dr. Reiter then returned to Temple University Hospital where for several years he treated local high school, college, and recreational athletes and was the league physician for the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union. Since moving to Florida in 2013, he has been treating weekend warriors and aging athletes and has helped pioneer a new surgical technique for the treatment of knee pain and osteoarthritis. He lectures both nationally and internationally to teach fellow surgeons the Subchondroplasty procedure.

Dr. Reiter is included in the Palm Beach Illustrated 2026 list of Top Doctors.

Dr. Reiter's care philosophy is first to provide each patient with the respect and attention he would give his own family. His goal is to provide timely, professional and cutting-edge care to each individual based on their own particular circumstances. He believes in making certain the patient understands their injury and treatment options so they can play an integral role in the decision-making process.
